The dinner was cooked by the boys, who have been taking a cooking course this year, with the help of a few girls. After the banquet in the sewing room the seniors went into the gymnasium and were led with some games. A jolly time was had by the seniors who attended the party. Allred, was instantly killed Friday morning when he was struck by a car driven by A. V. Smith, 30, Levan. The lad was in company with a group of 16 students from Spring City on a trip to Salt Lake City. As they stopped at the Point of the Mounain to examine the Porter Rockwell monument there, the boy ran from his father's car across the road, in front of the Smith machine. The fender struck his head, killing him instantly. Smith was driving south and the Allred car was parked on the east side of the highway. Marshall Niron Fowler of Lehi is of the opinion that the accident was unavoidable. Sheriff E. G. Durnell and County Attorney W. Stanley Dunford conducted an investigation of the accident.
