Mr. Carter came to Lehi from Provo 13 years ago, and had made his home here ever since. For the past several years he had been engaged in poultry raising. A Mr. Miller of Riverton, was returning from the mine with a Chevrolet truck loaded with coal and running out of gas near the western tracks, had stopped his truck, when Mr. Allred of Spanish Fork in a truck 'yded with cans of cream, also north bound, crashed into the rear of the coal truck. Mr. Miller and another man riding in the coal truck were uninjured. Mr. Allred re ceived treatment for a cut forehead and an injured chest. His injuries were reported not serious. His truck was badly damaged. The accident was investigated by City Marshals Fowler and Racker and Deputy Sheriff John S. Evans.
