PLEASE HELP. Dr. Eddington. hen Child Welfare workers have been very busy the past week preparing and serving hot lunches at noon to the R. F. C. school children. With Mrs. lone Gilchrist as chairman. Mrs. Ethel Goates, Mrs. Lilly Winn. Mrs. Lenore Jones and Mrs. Bertha Knud-seand other workers, lunches have been served to from 150 to 170 children each day. The meal consists of cooked hot vegetables prepared and served in appetizing ways. About ten gallons of milk per day are consumed by the children. On Tuesday of this week forty-five- ! children bought their dinners from the committee in charge. Dinners are sold to children who can afford to pay for their meals and wish to buy them from the welfare workers for the small sum of five cents. The above committee have prepared the dinners each day but beginning next week with the Athenian Club the dinners will be prepared by the different clubs of the city.
