David Roberts was very fond of his children, and nothing gave him more real pleasure than to rock, and sing them to sleep, one on each knee, after coming home from his work. He was a kind husband and father, never scolding or nagging. He had a kind disposition, and all who knew him, or came in contact with him. loved and resvected him. He was honest in all his dealings. Mr. and Mrs. Roberts have practically raised two of their motherless grandchildren. David Roberts has been failing in health for the past five years, and the last two years, had been compelled to it in his arm chair night and day, due to heart trouble. He suffered constantly, but was patient, and never complained. His answer to the callers, injuiring after his health, was "I think I'm a little ailment.
