FUTURE FARMERS PIONEER DAY PASSES QUIETLY Beginning the day Lehi's loyal band boys serenaded the fbwn, calling at homes of pioneers and prominent citizens. The band boys are always on the job when called on and should receive the support of the citizens. They are furnishing a concert program at the Utah County Officials Outing at Geneva. Saturday evening. The Pioneer Day celebration in Lehi arranged by a committee of two from each ward was carried out on schedule and a large gorup of children Willie Hardman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hardman was awarded fourth place in the handcart contest sponsored by the Covered Wagon celebration in Salt Lake City. The award given to the children who carved the best handcart or covered wagon. Willie was awarded a $5.00 check for his entry. He was presented the check by Bishop I. W.
