Care should be exercised in distinguishing between male and fe male deer. The male has horns and the female dees not. The state's deer ranges this fall are said to be well stocked with animals in fine flesh. There was little loss last winter through lack of foraee. and no sickness developed during the winter, spring or summer. The state game department officials repeat the already plea to hunters to be careful.
