Here is a home of a where the training place child counts. AH children should be taught that monuments are not the place to cut their initials, etc. In nearly all parks we see where some ambitious youngster has started out to make a career for himself by carving pictures and initials with a knife in the bark of the trees. If there was a in this contract whereby some kind of sidewalk had to be constructed when a person, or persons, contracted to construct a road, this provision would give the people someplace to walk. All town or cities ought to have good roads and keep them well graded and, in summer time, sprinkled. In every town there should be some place provided where the younger children can play and be safe from the danger that is present at all times when children are playing in the there j street. In these playgrounds should be men and women kept to look after the children and see that :iio harm comes to them.
