Anstee- - Brewer Marriage THE BRIDES princess styled wedding gown of peau de soie had a low square neckline and bouffant sleeves caught to wide cuffs. Narrow panels of Venetian lace threaded with ribbon trimmed the bodice from the shoulderline, continuing to the hemline of the slightly flared skirt. Brown attended the bride as maid of honor with Miss Terry Naylor and Miss Connie Naylor as bridesmaids. The attendants wore matching royal blue princess styled ensembles with round necklines. KENT Naylor served the duties of best man. Ushers were Paul Smith and Gary MISS SHERRIE Sabin. Brookshire was Drive, Kaysville, promoted to Army specialist four on Dec. 8 in Germany, where he is serving with the 3rd Infantry Division. SPEC. WARDLOW, an information specialist in Headquarters Company of the division in Wurzburg, entered the Army in October 1973 and completed basic training at Ft. Polk, La. HE HAS spent all his life in Kaysville, Layton, and Syracuse. He began work at a very early age with his father and several other farmers in the area. He married Vera Briggs April 21, 1915 and they were the parents of five children, four of whom still are living. Mrs. Mark (Dorean) Hatch died April 27, 1958. LAWRENCE AND Vera began their married life in Layton, renting a home and ground to farm where Roy was born. Two years later they bought a farm and home in Syracuse and have lived there since that time. Vera died Oct. 19, 1954. Lawrence married Pearl Cox Stoker April 12, 1957 and moved into where he still . her home resides. Pearl died March 20, Lawrence spent most of his life in farming. Three years at the Arsenal Depot in Sunset, three years with a building contractor building homes in the Kaysville area, and janitor with the Davis County School District for 92 years until his retirement in 1957. With the help of his wife he was able to work these other jobs and still help with the farming which responsibility Roy, his son, had taken over. LAWRENCE IS a member of the LDS Church, High Priest and belongs to the Syracuse LDS Third Ward. HE HAS been active all his life in keeping busy and helping others. He enjoys people and appreciates them coming to see his yard and visiting. He does his own cooking, washing and cleaning. He is always doing things for his children and grandchildren and helping them on their projects. He has 19 grandchildren and 15 vsb Wilbur Wahi Retires At 30 Wilbur L. Warn of Clearfield has retired at Hill AFB following 35 years of federal service. HE WAS a chief scheduler in the Maintenance Directorate at Hill. Mr. Warn is the son of Lewis M. Warn of Deer Logde, Montana. Mr. Warn is married to the former Aletha E. Hickox, daughter of Mrs. Mary K. Hickox of Ogden. They have one daughter. COFFMAN is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen E. Coffman, Sr. of Winchester, Va. Both the bride elect and bridegroom are serving with the U.S. Navy and are stationed in San Diego, Calif. THE COUPLE have chosen Feb. 14, 1976 as their wedding date with the ceremony and reception taking place at The Chateau in Layton. The bride is a graduate of Layton High School and a 1975 graduate as a Dental Tech-- , nician with the U.S. Navy. Like what? They tell me to strike and my wife orders me to keep on working. MRS. DOUGLAS R. Judy Rich and Ronald Lee Adams MR. HAYES was born in Georgetown, Ida., in 1886, a son of Nephi and Eliza Wright Hayes. One of seven children he was educated in Georgetown until he was 11 years old when the family moved to Farmington. After one year, the family returned to Idaho. It was at this time he began to herd sheep for his father. In 1906 he married Mary Christina Pennman in After their Georgetown. marriage, they moved to Alberta, Canada and farmed for 10 years before returning to Utah. THEY first resided in a home on Mutton Hollow Road, later moving to 144 North 100 East. This home is where they raised their seven children. He was employed with Kaysville City for 21 years. In 1942 Mr. Hayes was offered a job at Tuscorora, Nev. working for the Ellison Ranch and Company with Claude Barkdult, formerly of Kaysville, as foreman. They lived at this ranch for 17 years. UPON his retirement they moved to Chico, Calif, for two years and from there on to Vale, Ore. for five years. The Hayes returned to Utah and settled in Layton, where Mr. Hayes still resides. Mrs. Hayes died in 1965. AT THE young age of 90, Mr. Hayes still is very active and alert, keeps a neat home, does all the housekeeping, grocery shopping, grows and cans all his own vegetables and also cans his own fruit. He keeps up to date on world events and is interested in community affairs. His hobbies have been hunting and fishing although he has given up hunting as it was too difficult for him to walk distances. He still loves to fish and looks forward to boat fishing. WELLS P. HAYES Calif.; Arvel Hayes, Elko, Harlow Nev.; Hayes, Syracuse. Their daughter Reva was killed at the age of six, their son Weldon died while serving in world war II and the other son, Forest, died in Reno, Nev. THE BRIDE-to-b- e is a graduate of Clearfield High School and is presently employed at Hill Air Force Base. HIS children include: Mrs. David K. (Ruby) Brown, On- tario, Ore.; Mrs. Victor (Ruth) Snow, Sacramento, Mr. Leonard graduated from Bonneville High School and is attending Weber State College, mnm FIELDING Temple Rites Bonnie Lee Ford became the bride of Douglas Reed Fielding in Salt Lake LDS Temple rites on Friday. MR. AND Mrs. W. Lester Ford of 750 Church Street, Layton, are parents of the bride. Mr. Fielding is a son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Dee Fielding of 1530 N. Church St., Layton. A wedding breakfast hosted by the bridegrooms parents was held at the Mansion House in Ogden. THAT evening the White House in south Ogden provided the setting for a reception honoring the couple. The bridevwore a polyester crystalline gown designed with a high neckline, lace trimmed bodice with a deep and long sleeves trimmed at the cuffs with lace. The softly draped skirt and train were edged with lace and caught in the back with a bow. A cap of lace trimmed with seed pearls to which is attached a shoulder length veil of illusion was also worn by the bride. MRS. LANE F. Call, sister the bride, attended as matron of honor, with Miss Nancy Ford, also sister to the bride as maid of honor. Attending matrons included Mrs. Donald S. Flandro, sister of the bride and Mrs. Daniel L. THE MATRON of honor and maid of honor wore cranberry crepe gowns fashioned with lace yokes and collars, long sleeves and bouffant skirts. Cummerbunds accented the waistlines. Gowns of the other attendants were patterned the same in pink. THE BRIDES mother wore a pink floor length gown with a trimmed with a deep ruffle. The bridegroom s mother wore a cranberry color gown, with a high waist and long sleeves. Each car- Brother of the bridegroom, Fielding, served as best man. Daniel L. Ford, a brother of the bride, was the head usher. Other ushers were Rick Fielding and Scott Fielding, brothers of the bridegroom and David Ford and Dale Ford, brothers of the bride.
