Show Mr. and Mrs. William P. Jensen To Observe Golden Wedding With Open House On Sunday To Observe Golden Wedding Anniversary 1 ' 'Mr. and Mrs. William P. Jensen, formerly of Brigham City . of 1 .J1 Mr. and Mrs. William P. Jensen . . . who will greet friends at an open house honoring their 50th wedding anniversary next Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at their Garland home. They are former Brigham City residents. and now of Garland, have invited friends and relatives to an open house .Sunday afternoon between 2 and 5 p. m. in observance of their golden wedding anniversary. It will be held at their Garland home. They were married at Bear River City April 24, 1905. They resided ttiere for 21 years and moved to Brigham City in 1926. In 1940 they moved to Garland where they have resided since. Mr. Jensen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Sept. 15, 1882, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter S. Jensen. Mrs. Jensen, formerly Esther Hansen, was born in Bear River City, February 26, 1885, a daughter of Mr..and Mrs. Ole Hansen. Mr. Jensen was mayor of Bear River City for four years and Mrs. Jensen was active in Relief Society and Primary work there. Mr. Jensen was employed by the Utah-IdahSugar company for 46 years as canal rider and and as construction foreman in 1946 canal superintendent and 1947. He retired in 1947. ' They have six sons and daughters: Mrs. William (Ruby) Pratt, Blackfoot, Idaho; Shirley Jensen, Harper ward; Roger Jensen, Brigham City; Mrs. Ollie (Margery) Knutson, Garland; Frank and Mrs. Jensen, Deweyville, Eddie (Thelma) Knutson, Sho-shon- i, HOUSE CLEANING NEED NOT Wyoming. President Valentine then presented, in behalf of the PTA, a check for $440 to Principal Gunderson for the school suggesting that the money be used by the school for playground equipment.
