All but eight are for two years terms. Eight is for a one year term, with next years election of district eight being for a two-yea- r term. IT All residents of Kearns are urged to cast their ballots at the Kearns Junior High School from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Any person who is a resident of Kearns, either 18 years of age or older are eligible to vote. Exercise this right that you have, and make sure the man you want gets into office. Dont sit back and let the other man do it and then complain because the results arent what you wanted. For district eight, the ballot will read for district eight and or councilman-at-large- , so the public may vote for either of the nominated councilman-at-larg- e place a write-i- n on the ballot. CD Number 40 Delegate Assembly The first delegate assembly of the Community Development program was held Oct. 5 at the Kearns Junior High. Preliminary steps were taken to act as thelegislative body for the CD program. This program is based on self study of the Kearns problems and the solution of what to do about them. All citizens of Kearns met in one of eight district meetings every other Monday night to hear reports from fact finding committees and discuss possible solutions to the problems. The following Monday night delegates will meet to discuss and vote on district actions. Delegates voted last Monday evening to approve chairmen of Fact Finding and House Keeping Committees appointed by the Board of Directors. Fact Finding Committees are: The Library committee headed by Dr. Burton F. Brasher, 5410 So. 4420 West. Organization committee is headed by Jean Brickell, 4587 W. 5015 South.
