Davis Insurance Agency Opened Mr. Dave Davis, 27, will be moving to Kearns in the very near future with his wife and three children. His wife is the former Eileen Barwick. His children are Dawn L., 5, David B. 2, and Rodney B, trained by Prudential Insurance Company. He is insurance manager for Davis Insurance Agency, handling life, auto, mortgage, redemption, sickness and accident policies. The insurance agency is a bonded firm, providing for the residents of Mr. Davis has worked in the in- Kearns and the surrounding areas, surance field for two years a low premium contract. Mr. Dave Davis may be contacted handling all lines of insurance. He is a stundent of LUTC, formerly at the Reed Davis Realtor office in the Kearns Shopping Center. Leadership Training Session Training sessions for buzz discussions leaders are now underway. Some of those leading discussion groups started their training sessions Tuesday, concluding them today. Six hours of training sessions are required to lead district discussions. Anyone interested in taking this course may still do so. The next session will be held Saturday, October 3rd from 9 a m. to 12:30 p.m. an dagain from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. the same Saturday. Many persons affiliated with either church or civic groups that have taken the course, feel that the information gained from the course has been of great help to them. Dr. Weldon Moffitt, staff member of the Bureau of Community Development at the University of Utah in charge of leadership training, is the trainer at these sessions. The public is encouraged to attend this session. St. Francis Plans Minstrel Show Members of St. Francis Catholic Church in Kearns are presently making plans to sponsor a minstrel show, but several more talents are urgently needed. Parishioners of all ages who can sing, dance, play an instrument or process any other talents are invited to attend a special meeting Sunday, at 8 p.m., at the Parish Hall. Another Bing Party at St. Francis Parish Hall will take place Saturday, at 8:15 p.m. promptly. The Jackpot for this game is $100.00.
