It takes a woman with patience, endurance, intelligence and much love to feel the role of a modern mother well . God bless mothers everywhere and grant a special blessing to all who are willing to extend their time and their talents not only to their own families but to the families of the less fortunate in their community. me Honors for 4 Utahns Four senior citizens in Utah were honored today with special plaques noting their achievements for the past . year. They were honored at a special ceremony in the Rotunda of the State Capitol at noon as Gov. Calvin L. Rampton signed a prod designating May as Senior Citizen Month. Honored Monday were Mrs Snsanah Cox Brooks and Mary EDen Atheriey, sisters over 63 from England, who were sworn in as dtizens o the United States: Dr Louis Rogoff, who returned to college and received a degree in the field of geriatrics, and Douglas Woodruff, new national president of the American Association of Retired Persons, The awards were presented by Eldon T, Gray, chairman of the board of the Division of Aging. Following the short ceremony, a tour of antique cars was held.
