Children have the urge to use various means of sliding. We have seen some children catching hold of cars and sliding on their feet or in other instances hitching their sleds to cars. In either instance children may and are often injured. May we enlist the parents assistance in keeping children from doing these things. Many times children bring sleds to school. We cannot assume responsibility for taking care of sleds. Often they are stolen and not recovered. It is against the rules to store sleds in halls as the halls must be clear in case of fire. I suggest, as school administrator, that children leave all sleds at home during school hours. HAROLD HANSEN, Principal.
