Show FARMERS CYCLOPEDIA OF LIVE STOCK. This is a new book treating of the ( whole subject of Animal husbandry. ' It gives in one volume a clear, con cise, accurate account of the knowl-i knowl-i edge to dale of every phase of live j stock farming. This volume treats animal industry from) many standpoints stand-points never previously touched upon. It is intended as a reference book for stockmen, farmers, students, and teachers. In it the farmer will find any aid or guidance for improved practice; the intending stock raiser will, find help in deciding his line of operation; the teacher finds a basis for his lectures, and for his class room work in animal industry. It represents the digested results of years of careful scientific work at our 120 agricultural colleges and experiment experi-ment stations. The book is from the pen of Dr E. V. Wilcox and Prof. Clarence B. Smith, both of whom arc connected with the U. S. Department of Agriculture. Agri-culture. It will be remembered that these men, some few years ago, got ! out the Farmers Cyc pedia of Ag riculture, which so many of our readers read-ers obtained, and which gave such I general satisfaction. The book can be obtained from the Orange Judd Publishing Co., in cloth binding for $4.50, or bound in half j morocco with cloth sides and leather corners for $5.50- Arrangements have been made, however, so that subscribers sub-scribers to the Deseret Farmer can secure the cloth binding of this book and one year's subscription to the Deseret Farmer for $3.70, or the half morocco binding and one year's subscription sub-scription to the Deseret Farmer for $4.30.
