Show SAHARA. Sahara, Utah, Feb. 28, 1917. The second meeting of the Debating Debat-ing Society was well attended last Saturday night. The subject for debate de-bate was "Resolved that Single Happiness Happi-ness is Better than Married Blis " The affirmative lost altho the bachelors bache-lors protested loudly that it was nn unfair decision. After the debate an enjoyable time was had by everyone in playing cards and dancing. The next debate will be held March 10th. and the subject will be "Resolved that Friendship is Better than Love." Our valley blacksmith, Mr. A. G. Johnson, made a flying trip to the Stockholders' Amalgamated Mine the latter part of the week. Mr. Dave Lister of Cedar City, while on hia way to Pine Valley, stopped at the Sahara Ranch Monday night. It is reported that there is about Ave feet of snow up around the Arrowhead Ar-rowhead mine. The snow which recently re-cently fell in this valley has practic ally disappeared. In fact, Mr. Chan J. Hellings has commenced on his spring plowing. Mr. Elwin Butts left Tuesday to resume his work with the Salt Lake Railroad company. - t , Mr. Donald Mackelprang of Cedar City visited at the Earl Markwith home while on his way to Nevada Tuesday. Raas A. Brown caught a large coyote coy-ote in one of his traps last Monday. Tonight there is choir practice at . the school house. The Sunday School is making preparations for a splendid Easter program. Miss Anna Reynolds is steadily improving im-proving from a severe attack of inflammatory in-flammatory rheumatism. Mr. W. G. Bumpus and family of Ford were business callers in Sahara Monday. A regular epidemic of woll-dlggine has started in Sahara. Those having wells dug are Mrs. A. E. Phillips Messrs. W. L. Shultz, R. A. Brown H. T. Griffin and I. B. Heddriek. Naxt Saturday night is "club nigh .." A large crowd is expected to be present. pres-ent. Union Sunday School 10:30 a. m each Sunday. Mr. W. L.
