Show THATCHER Green Ball Saturday night. Bamona Rasmussen was the lovely queen of the occasion. She wore a lovely gown of acqua blue tafetta and net and corsage of white gardemas. Elvin Mecham had the honor of presenting pre-senting the crown. The attendants were- Miss Louise Tyler, Martha Oliver, Mardlne Harris, Earlene Mecham and the two little flower girls were Carla Mae Wilson and Jacquelin Coombs. Mr. and Mrs. Ford Cheney and Miss Mary Linkersdorfer motored to Logan Friday evening to spend the week end with friends and relatives. rela-tives. The score was 31-23. Theron Smith, Sr., has been seriously ill the past week with burns received from lime. He was a patient for a short time in the Preston hospital. At present Mr. Smith is still under the doctor's care, but is on the road to recovery. James Roholt, Jr., and play cast plan to present their play "More Room for Rodney," in the Cleveland Cleve-land ward next Friday, January 31. Immediately following the play will be a dance. The Literary club was entertain ed at the home of Mrs. Milton Men denhall last Wednesday night. Mrs. Adrian Callahan was the hostess of a quilting party held at her home Wednesday. Tuesday evening the Mound Valley Val-ley ward and Cleveland ward held their dance practice together, isey also completed plans for a Joint Gold and Green Ball to be held at Cleveland, February 7. Mr .and Mrs. Harris Stephenson entertained a few guests at a party following the dance Saturday night. Charles Clark was a Sunday .afternoon .aft-ernoon guest of Mr. and Mrs Charles B. McGregor. The Bannock Stake M-Men and Gleaner girlsi are sponsoring a basket bas-ket dance to be held on Saturday February 1 at Grace. A large crowd is expected to attend the affair. Mr. jand Mrs., Richard E.
