Bealand son, John Edgar spent a few days in' Salt Lake recently visiting with Mrs. Beal's mother, Mrs. John Roghaar who ig reported to have underwent an operation. Lloyd Miller left for Pocatello Sunday to attend school there. 1 Miss Evelyn McHugh of Salt Lake was home over the week end with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Geo. McHugh. Mrs. Harry Simpson is confined to her bed the past two weeks, but is reported improving. Quinten, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Lundquist who has been employed em-ployed in California is home visit-ting visit-ting with his parents, Mrs. Afton Hurst is in Downey caring for her sister-in-law Mrs Ray Hurst who is confined to her bed with a new baby. A birthday party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrr. C. W. Lundquist Lund-quist in honor of Mr. Lundquist's sixty-ninth birthday. Many relatives rela-tives and friends came to wish him well. The evening was spent with games. A delicious lunch was served. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Jorgensen, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Jorgensen, Jor-gensen, Jr., motored to Logan Sunday Sun-day to visit with relatives and friends. Prizes were ' won by Mrs Bertha Griffeth, Vera. McKay, and Mrs. Cora Jensen. A two course lunch watf served to 25. A community fun night was held Moncfay evening. Boxing, wrestling, games and dance completed the evening. A good crowd attended. Thain Bower, son of Mr. and Mrs J. B. Bower left recently for Pocatello, where he will attend school at the, Southern Branch of U of I. Mrs. George L. Jones of Dayton was an overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Georgeson recently Mrs. Robert Goodwin? of Cornish is visiting here at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Jensen. Jen-sen.
