Show BRIDAL SHOWER FOR MRS. RULON DAVIS Miss Edna Palmer and Mrs. Ruth Webber entertained at a bride's shower last Saturday evening at the Palmer home in honor of Mrs. Rulon Davis, formerly Miss Ber-nieee Ber-nieee Lamont. A three-course dinner din-ner was served at a long table centered cen-tered with a Valentine doll and tapers. Miniature dolls dressed in red and white marked places for twelve girl friends. .Games followed follow-ed the dinner. The guest of honor received, many useful and beautiful gifts. Miss Lamont was married to Rulon Ru-lon Davis of Idaho Falls in De cember. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lamont. .They are making their home at Idaho Falls. Mrs. Davis spent thej weekend week-end visiting in Preston. FINE ARTS MEET WITH MRS. NASH Mrs. Valeta Nash entertained the Fine Arts club last Monday evening eve-ning at her home. Mrs. Laurina Benson of Whitney gave two piano solos and Mrs. Gwen Clark reviewed review-ed the book "Richard Halliburton" His story of His Life's Adventures. Her review was supplemented with maps and pictures. A luncheon, suggestive of Valentine, was served. A bowl of red and white carnations decorated the dining table. Special guests included Mrs. Etta Gibson, Mrs. Stella Boothe and Mrs. Lau-rena Lau-rena Benson. |
