Show u- u FOUR ACCIDENTS OCCUR HERE OVER WEEK-END Automobile accidents marred the week-end in Preston with four crashes reported by State Patrolman Patrol-man Harry Dabling who was investigating in-vestigating officer. No serious injuries resulted. Three cars were involved in a crash about 4:45 Sunday attenioon on the Battle Creek bridge on Highway High-way 91. A car driven ,j Dennis Lowe of Franklin stopped near the railing to check on a flat tire. A second machine driven by Dale Saxton of Preston pulled up to as- sist and the machine driven by Luther Boyd of Preston slid into (he rear of the Saxton machine. All three cars were traveling north. Saxton received hospital treatment treat-ment for cuts, and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd were treated for minor cuts and bruises. Damage to the cars was estimated at $2'0. At about 11 p. m. Sunday evening a car driven by Waller Jensen, Preston, crashed into the rear of the A. C. Hull automobile about 2 blocks south of the caution light on Highway 91. The Hull car had run out of gas and was parked. Miss Melha Parkinson, Franklin, occupant of the Jensen car was treated for minor cuts and bruises and; Mrs. Hull who was sitting in the stalled car sustained a wrenched wrench-ed neck. No injuries were sustained in a third crash about 9 p. m. Sunday evening when the car driven by Mr. Reed of Logan skidded into the rear of the Archie D. Peterson car on Highway 91, South of Preston. A dense fog obscured vision. Karly Sunday morning Lynn Fai-krell ran into some horses on the highway belween Fairview and Preston, and although no one was injured, tile car suffered considerable consider-able damage. o o |
