LaVar and Lornell were married June 18, 1947 in the Logan Pi 8 T LDS Temple. LaVar was born and raised in Lehi. He served a mission in the Southern States Mission and also served in the Marines during World War II. He worked as a dry farmer and poultry farmer and then was a school bus driver for Alpine School District after his retirement from farming. Lornell was born and raised in Logan. She received her home economics degree from Utah State University and moved to Lehi to teach at Lehi High School. They have enjoyed many trips with family and friends. They have also worked for many years in the Provo LDS Temple and are cur- I II - III! - Hs-- , T. "si'. I " They are the parents of five girls: Carol (Roger) Gregrich, Tooele; Colleen (Brian) Price, Ogden; Barbara (Blake) Trane, Highland; Connie Powell, Ogden, Janet (Marty) Barber, Lehi. Kyle is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Scott Wells of St. George. He served an LDS mission to southern Florida.
