Show THE February 3, 1966 Mind Games Keep Spare Time Busy If you havent gotten in the rut of studying yet or if the profs (bless em) havent given you much homework, then you have some time to relax and do ridiculous things with your mind, right? And so I present some word games for you to play around with, and most importantly, improvise upon. One of them was taken from the content of many conversations during finals when no one was making much sense. The idea is to present opposites on each end of the sentence. The other one is a little couplet sort of thing without rhythm, but it has to rhyme. After you get the hang of these you can stifle people who ask you questions that they really dont care about. Here are The PINE CONE some starters: Hows your don? Canine. Hows your cat? Feline How re your teeth? Dental. Hows your mind? Mental. How was the sermon? Didactic. Hows the sky? Galactic. Howre your verse? Blanked. Hows your ceptic? Tanked. How're your feet? Pedestrian. Hows your horse? Equestrian. Howre your eyes? Focal. Hows your mouth? Vocal. Hows vour house? Masonic. Hows your priesthood? Aaronic. Hows the sea? Marine. Howre your blinds? Unseen. Hows your nails? Cutaneous. Hows your skin? Extravenous. Hows your blood? Hemoglobic. Howre your fears? Claustrophobic. You catch on to that. And so now you have something to do in the lounge besides gossip and play bridge. Its pretty easy to branch out on these and make up your own. Its all for the sake of good clean imaginative competition. It may be challenging, but its competitive. (And thats another story.)
