Show HUMPHREYS AND MYERS WIN BOWLING CONTESTS New records were set in both men's and women's competition in the weekly bowling contest held Monday at the local alleys. In the men's contest Dee Humphreys Hum-phreys set two new contest records in winning first plaice. In the three game series he averaged 170 which beats the former record of 166 sei by Cliff Porter in the first week's contest. He also rolled a high single game of 194 which beats the former single game record set by Don Chadwick last week at 169 The 169 score was beaten this week at 169. The 169 score was week however by Ken Smith ana Bowers also. Smith scored 183 while Bowers notched up a 172 game. In women's competition Vera Myers stole the spotlight as she averaged 141 in the three game series which beats the record made last week by Marjorie Clark at 123.
