Show BILL ON TRESPASS IS KILLED IN THE HOUSE The house yesterday killed the Mabey bill, which provided for the punishment of persons trespassing on railway prop- I erty. Many of the members declared I that in some remote parts of the state j it was necessary for farmers and others to use the railway right of way at certain i times in the year, ;md they objected to j becoming liable to fine and lmpi isonment I for so doing. W. L. Van Wasoner of Wa- 1 satch moved that the enacting clause be ' stricken from the bill and this motion j was carried after an hour's debate. |
