For the owner, exact knowledge of service ser-vice to come Is more satisfactory than the indefinite promise of a dealer or salesman, that has heretofore been common com-mon in the motor-car industry. In speaking- of this plan. Manager Rivers Riv-ers of tiie Rivers Motor Sales company, local agent for the Hupmobile, says: Upon delivery of a 1916 Hupmobile to the owner, the Hupp Motor Car company will Issue to the owner a coupon book containing 100 coupons each one good for one-half hour's (or fraction thereof) labor on his car. These coupons may be presented present-ed at any Hupmobile service station tn the United States or Canada, with the provision that not more than ten of the coupons be used In any one month. Each coupon is stamped with the month and year In which it must be used, in addition to the number of the car on which it applies. Coupons become worthless if they are not presented in the month specified. The object of this restriction is to insure resnalr monthly inspection- of the owner's car. |
