Show c Silver City sets reunion Bible school by Colleen McNulty The folk from old Silver City are planning another reunion, (the 14), for August 16, at the William Conrad park in Silver City. Past reunions have been great! A little dust, a few bugs, no i water, and primitive accommodations, but lots of happy people and lots of visiting and reminiscing. f 1 Folks start gathering as early as Sunday (August 11), and spend the week. The schedule for Friday August 16 is: Potluck at 1 p.m.. s (bring chairs). Bring your loose change for a raffle (blankets and yard ornaments and an auction (donated items appreciated). Please join us for FUN, FOOD, and VISITING. Come early and stay late. The Silver City Reunion committee started something years ago that has become at tradition. On the Thursday evening before the reunion they have Dutch Oven meat and vegetable dinner. Those who join than bring something to go with it . I I I The Raymond Hansen Family I successful The Eureka United Methodist Church hosted a Vacation Bible School last week for local children. They invited children of all ages and had a bug safari based on 1 Samuel. Everyday the children would learn about a verse in the biblc, have activities that went with that vase including crafts, games, and even snacks. The children learned several songs during the week and performed them for their parents are Saturday. They had around 24 children participate in the week. Sandy Evans was the director and had the help of Dawn Christensen, Shauna Jensen, Kayla Jones, Viriginia Badcschcr, Edie Pascual, Marsha Tilby, and Janice Boswell.
