Show James F.Calloway Dies In California Following an illness of only five days, James F. Calloway, 53, retired re-tired Union Pacific engineer and former resident of Milford, died the afternoon of Thanksgiving day. Death was due to pneumonia and overtook him in the Good Samaritan Samari-tan hospital, where he was removed re-moved from North Holljrwood, home of the Galloways for the last three Or four years. Funeral services were held Sunday Sun-day afternoon at the home, attended attend-ed by a large number of friends and former railroad associates from Utah and Nevada. On Monday Mon-day the body- was cremated in accordance ac-cordance with wishes of the deceased, de-ceased, and the ashes scattered along the railroad rightofway between be-tween Caliente and Salt Lake, also in accordance with his wishes. ' Mr. Calloway- is survived by his wife and two brothers, Clyde of ' Los Angeles and Bud of San Ber-j Ber-j nardino, both of whom are railroad rail-road engineers. |
