Show Trailer park cited JENSEN The Uintah Basin Health Department director said this week he has issued a citation ordering a Wyoming Wyom-ing firm operating a trailer park here to correct a solid waste disposal problem or face closure of the park. Director Rand Webb said waste from part of the disposal system at Monument Trailer Park has seeped to the surface. Apparently, the problem stems from a section of the park's septic tank system becoming overloaded as residents run water to keep water systems from freezing, freez-ing, according to Webb. The firm that owns the park, from Green River, Wyo., has filed a declaration declara-tion of bankruptcy in Colorado, said Webb. The firm purchased the trailer park in 1981 from Ewell Edwards, who still lives here. Webb said a section of the waste disposal system serving six trailers has leaked. There are about 25 trailers in the park. The system was built for septic tanks to serve groups of trailers, and sections sec-tions were added on as the park grew, he said. The system would fail to meet health department standards if built today, to-day, he added. |
