Show THE TEMPLETON CHANCES. Alonzo Tonne Retires and Don II. Porter Assnmes Control. ;. The Templeton changed hands today and the old management has retired, while Don H. Porter of Omaha is at the head of this popular caravansary. The new management manage-ment of the Templeton has already begun active innovations and will continue until this hotel is fitted thoroughly from the office to the parlor, in the finest possible tvle. - . Mr. and Mrs. Don H. Porter are well-known well-known to the commercial and tourist fraternity frater-nity and have made fame for themselves in the line of hotel management. Mr. Porter was manager of the Mercer hotel at Omaha, of which Major Erb, late of Salt Lake, is now proprietor. On the opening of the Mercer hotel the Omaha World-IIeratd had this to say concerning con-cerning Mr. Porter: The Mercer hotel, which opens tomorrow, is to be under the management of Mr. Don H. Porter. But fw men in the hotel business have been as succesnf ul in conducting hotels as Mr. Porter, and : Dr. Mercer, its proprietor, is to be congraiulatod i on having secured nis services. He is a regular I mascot in his line. Mr. Por-V Por-V has been connected with hotols all his life. His repntation in building up the Minnekahta hotel at Hot Springs, in the Black Hills, i proverbial, pro-verbial, and while under his charge it had the reputation of being the nearest to a perfectly conducted con-ducted house of any in the West, and was the favorite one in that locality. Mr. Porter also conducted a large ho. el in FloiiJa. The gentleman gentle-man has a largo acquaintance among the traveling travel-ing pnblic and commercial men, aud if the Mercer while In his hands is not at the front, it won t be his fault The retiring management will go out of the Templeton with the best wishes of the boys of the road and patrons of the house. Mr. Alonao Young has, by his pleasant and courteous ways, ingratiated himself to the guests of the house. MINING AND REDUCTION COMPANY. Articles of Incorporation Filed With th Secretary Today. The Bullionville Mining t Reduction company com-pany filed articles of incorporation with the secretary this morning. The company is composed of the following Salt Lake people: Wm. 8- Godbe, president; Thomas Marshall, vice president; Wm. S. McCornick, treasurer; treas-urer; Anthony H. Godbt, secretarv. The amount of the capital stock is $1,000,000, divided into 100,000 shares of the par value of $10 each. Waddington L. Cook is a stock-bolder. stock-bolder. Each member ef the company subscribes sub-scribes for 100 shares of stock. The main office of the company ie located in this city, and the property of the corporation is located in Lincoln county, Nevada, and known as the Highland raining district; tbe claims are the Highland Queen aad Tramway.
