When the interest wis t h-peak h-peak in the discussion, the group visited the local ment nvi"''"t ' Wm. Davis where cutting on the job was demonstrated by two efficient effi-cient butchers. This gave the group a real opportunity to locate the cuts as they were made and also to ask questions as to why a certain cut was made where it was. Mutton and beef carcasses were used for the demonstration. Many interesting items were discussed dis-cussed on the job, but the one very essential point to remember in cutting cut-ting meat was how to cut, as to the grain in the meat. It was learned learn-ed that by .cutting fresh meat the wrong way of the grain would cause the meat to be tough after cooking, where if it had been cut properly it would have been tender. The next meeting will be held Wednesday, December 18, at 8 p. m. in the agricultural room. The topic for discussion will be, lockers lock-ers for fruit, meat and vegetables, their advantages and disadvantages. disadvan-tages. Those interested are invited invit-ed to attend.
