The Rosenbruch World Wildlife Museum is an exhibit that features animals from all over the world as well as 33,000 square habitat. feet of Accompanied by a bone exhibit, live waterfalls, and thunder and lightning storms, the museum has a realistic atmosphere. The bone exhibit is made possible by Dixie State al Universitys biology de- partment. It includes many different bones of animals such as a domestic cat, an elephant and a bat. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $4 for children. However, if you have a DSU starving student card, you get free admissions on your first visit. When I first arrived, I bought a ticket, and the cashier handed me a long, black device with numbered buttons on it. I was confused until she explained the device was my tour guide. All I had to do was that type in certain numbers were posted at each different exhibit, put the device to my ear and listen. rFU OTMiranm tllOC help visitors learn about the rare and different animals that live all over the world and to raise awareness on how some of the animals are becoming extinct. As I continued on, I saw animals from the African savannah, swamp, desert, and forest, a nocturnal cave, North America, a mountain canyon, Europe and Asia. Some of my favorite parts were the nocturnal cave and walking through another cave that had ancient markings. The nocturnal cave reflected nighttime and showed what animals come out at night and what they might do while awake. For example, in one area, an elk was sleeping, and a bobcat attacked it. Honestly, I know the predator and prey relationship is just a part of nature, but that doesnt mean I want to see it. My least favorite part was having to see some animals being eaten by predators. For example, a pride of lions were attacking a buffalo and eating it, and a fox was attacking a bird. The Rosenbruch World Wildlife Museum is an amazing exhibit that teaches visitors about the worlds many different animals. It is a great place to relax and try something new. f fcMl r 4 - J Mil t - Staff writer Chaney Kohl explores the Rosenbruch World Wildlife Museum and gets the chance to see different animals Kohl said the museum teaches visitors about the world's many different animals i TWENTY OCTOBER 1ST F DIXIE STATE Li Ld u F I A M P I T E E II 7:30PM AT R T H E E FEATURING THE TALENTS OF -- A x r.
