Winners and runners-up were announced at the 20" annual Southwest Utah Sterling Scholar program held Thursday night at the M.K. Cox Performing Arts Center on the Campus of Dixie College, St. George Utah. One hundred sixty one students, their parents, teachers and supporters attended a banquet honoring the Sterling Scholar from each school. At the banquet, Ferril Heaton, Sterling Scholar committee District, member, Kane School introduced guest speaker Randy W. Wilkinson, President of Wilkinson Electric, Inc. and Ace Mechanical Contractors. Wilkinson reminded each student that they are all winners by virtue of being there and that they are indeed our future leaders. The Church will function as a part of the interdenominational Christian Missionary Alliance. After joining with the Southern Baptist congregation at 6:30 A.M. for a Sunrise Easter Service at 485 North 100 West, the Valley Alliance Church will offer an Easter Celebration Service at the Pavilion, beginning at 9:30 A.M.
