Show Two Important Farm Sessions Scheduled For January 25 February 3 At Courthouse SPEAKERS SLATED FOR BOTH MEETINGS Dairy, SoQ Experts To Speak At Farm Sessions Two important meetings of the Franklin county farmers have been scheduled for the latter part of this week and the forepart of February Feb-ruary according to an announcement announce-ment 'from County Agent Chase Kearl. All farmer Interested In . dairying are urged to attend (ha meeting set for Saturday, January 25 at the county courthouse court-house from 11 a.m. until noon and from 1:30 until close of meeting. The morning session will be a business session of the Franklin County Herd Improvement Association. Associa-tion. Tie general meeting will be held In the afternoon dealing with all types of dairy problems. Ivan Loughary, extension dairyman from University of Idaho, will be the principal speaker. A meeting on Monday, February Feb-ruary 3 at 1 p.m. will feature H. W. E, Larsen, extension soil specialist, together with Mr. McDole of the soil conservation service In a discussion of the management of Franklin county coun-ty soils. In conjunction with this meeting will be. an exhibit set by the Ana-idpnda Ana-idpnda Copper Company showing the results of phosphate on various crops. A general discussion on the "Application of Phosphate" will also bel held. Both meetings are important, and farmers are urged to keep the dates in mind with definite plans to attend |
