Show y I WESTON I - Mrs. W. M. Wilson, Mrs. Frank Gooding, both of Flint, Mich., left for home after spending two weeks in Weston. Mr .and Mrs. Charles Wash and family of Eagleackey, Mont., spent a few days with Mr. Wash's brother bro-ther here, Mr. and Mrs. George Wash. Glen Gregorsen has been ill the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Pitcher of Lo. gan spent the week-end at the home of Mrs. Pitcher's parents Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Merrill. Richard Daley suffered a broken bro-ken left leg when he was pinned between a truck and the radiator of another car. Word has been raceived here of the marriage of Miss Yvonne For. ter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Porter. Yvonne has spent the past three years In Ogden. Mrs. Velma Stokes Is spending some time here with her mother, before joining her husband at Twirl Falls where he is employed. A social was held Thursday afternoon aft-ernoon at the home of Mrs. Mary Anderson in honor of her granddaughter, grand-daughter, Mrs. Leonard Nelson. The time was spent In playing games followed with a tasty lunch. Frank Shrives and Ben Buttars were reelected in the school election elec-tion held here. Mrs. Stevenson and little daughter, daugh-ter, Janean, returned to their home at Kemmerer, Wyo after spending a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Goldsborough. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Goldsborough and daughter, Iris, motored to Kemmerer. Wyo. Mrs. Stevenson returned with them. Mr. and Mrs. Enos Hebdon were Weston visitors Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mayle Hebdon. Heb-don. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Pratt of Preston Pres-ton were Sunday visitors here. Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Cherry of Fairview were In Weston Sunday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Allen have gone to Warm Springs, Colo., where Mr. Allen Is employed. Melvin Austin motored to Fo-catello Fo-catello on business concerning the W.P.A. work here. Dan Burbank has returned from California where he has spent part of the summer working. |
