Show MANURE SPREADER COOPERATIVE SET Doing their part In the war effort by economizing on farm equipment three Franklin County Farmers, Ira W. Sant, Thomas H. Sant and Cy-ral Cy-ral S. Hunter, have organized the Trio Manure Spreader service for joint use and ownership of a manure man-ure spreader through Farm Security's Securi-ty's community and cooperative service program, announces L. D. Crawford, county FSA Supervisor, Preston. "Savings in operating costs, modern mo-dern machinery to save labor, and use of equipment on three or more farms instead of one will help the war board's goal of "stretching" farm equipment," Crawford said. "Thomas" Sant will serve as manager-treasurer of the service." All farmers cooperating in joint use and ownership of new or existing exist-ing farm machinery and equipment are helping win the war by conserving con-serving materials vital to our war effort. Applications for cooperative financing may be made at the county coun-ty FSA office if adequate credit is not available from other sources. Loans carry three per cent interest and are made for the life of the equipment. ' n n |
