CLUB F MPORTB Ni-cho- ll, Club The "300" Club members drove to Payson last Thursday evening, where they attended a movie. Later they enjoyed refreshments at a Payson cafe. Hostesses for the evening were Mrs. Max Berry and Mrs. Bob Robinson. Mrs. Dick Mr. and Mrs. Robert Garity and daughter, Sandra of Orem, spent Saturday here with his mother, Mrs. Mildred Girty. On Sunday, Mrs. Garity's daughter, Mrs. Carol Larsen, of Spanish Fork, drove to Eureka and they made a trip to 'Spanish Fork and Lehi, where they visited with relatives. Mrs. Larsen drove her mother to Eureka Sunday evening and then returned to her home n Spanish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Randle and daughter, Marjorie, were in Salt Lake last Friday evening, attending the "West Side Story," a production at the U Stadium. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Goodrich of Salt Lake, former residents of Silver City, were in Tintic on Sunday visiting with the Chris Sorensen family in Mammoth and other friends, and Mr. and Mrs. Julian Sanderson and small daughter, Julina, of Salt Lake visited during the w'cck at the home of his parents, Mr .and Mrs. Gerald (Sanderson, and with Mrs. William Wirthlin and Maymc. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Robinson and family are spending a few' days at Fish Lake and Otter Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gourlcy and children left Wednesday for Fish Lake for a few days fishing. Mr .and Mrs. Roy Gourley, Sr., left Monday morning for California, for a weeks vacation. They will spend a few days in Sacramento with her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Broderick, and will drive to San Francisco, before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ew'ell and family were in Salt Lake Mr. and Mrs. Clare Van Aus-dand family of Kearns, spent al the weekend here with her parents, Mayor and Mrs. Charles Ferris. Their small daughter, Korin, remained here for further visiting with her grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. William Roberts and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Randle were in Nephl last Saturday, taking in the Rodeo, w'hich was a big feature of the'Utc Stampede celebration. Sunday guests of Mr .and Mrs. Hamilton Laird and Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Gourley and Mrs. A. L. Broderick were Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Broderick of Roy, Mr. and Mrs. Max Kay of Bountiful; Mrs. Jerry Paxton of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Arvid Newman of Dug-wa- Mr. and Mrs. Harold Naef and family of Orange, Caif., left Friday after spending 10 days here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Naef. Mrs. Newman will be one of the solo leads in the Cole Porter musical comedy, "Anything Goes" which will be staged in Bakersfield on the 16 and 17. She will also be a member of the chorus in the "Desert Song which will be presented on July 23 and 24. Mountain Evanson, Wyoming; and Mr. and Mrs. West Martin of Salt Like on a trip to Yellowstone Park, where the group enjoyed a week's vacation. Laird was celebrating her birthday anniversary and the club members presented her with a lovely birthday cake and a gift. Members attending were Mrs. Joseph Wahlberg, Mrs. Dave Garbett, Mrs. Fred Laird, Mrs. Carol Jolley, the honored guest, Mrs. Laird and the Distance last Sunday. night Ilt'liekah Assembly Mrs. Nellie Laird was hostess to Past Presidents of the Rebekah Assembly of Utah, at a dinner last Saturday held at a local cafe. Mrs. Laird is president of Past Presidents organization. At the conclusion of the dinner, a business meeting was held with Mrs. Laird conducting. Later several games of "500" were enjoyed and Mrs. Laird presented the winners with prizes. Those attending were Ethel Smith, Mary H. Thomas, Mary E. West, Marie G.
