Online condolences may be sent to the family at <www.leavittsmortuary.com> Janine Adams Howard Matthew Alma Howard Esther Hope Howard Janine Adams Howard (39) and Mathew Alma Howard (11) returned to the presence of their Heavenly Father on June 28, 2007 following a motor vehicle accident in Layton, Utah. Esther Hope Howard (8) joined them on June 29, 2007. Janine was born in Murray, Utah to David and Beverly Adams on December 1, 1967. She married Benjamin Snow Janine Howard Howard, September 28, 1991 in the Manti Temple. The couple moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1994 where Janine raised and home-schooled her four children. The family returned to Huntsville, Utah in 2006. They are members of the Middleton LDS Ward. Janine was dedicated to her calling in life as a mother. She enjoyed taking her children to the library, museums and community activities. She loved to sing, sew, and cook; and was a talented seamstress. Matthew Alma Howard was born May 16, 1996 in Fort Worth, Texas on his father’s birthday. He Matthew Howard loved soccer and video games. Matthew was a loving boy who was a friend to everyone. He was quiet, contemplative, and had a spiritual depth that was astounding. Esther Hope Howard was born July 9, 1998 in Fort Worth, Texas. Esther was often called “baby bear” by her mother and father. Her sweet smile and bubbly personality were infectious. She saw the best in everyone. They are survived by their husband and father, Benjamin Snow Howard, daughter and sister Rachel Faith Howard (13), and brother and son Caleb Abinadi Howard (7). Janine is survived by her father, David (Karen) Adams; brothers Tony Thompson, Mike (Connie) Adams, Dan (Janette) Adams, and Judd (B.J.) Adams; and sister Michelle (Mark) Covington. A combined funeral for Janine, Matthew, and Esther Howard Esther Howard was held Saturday, July 7, 2007 at the Middleton Ward Chapel in Huntsville, Utah, 277 S. 7400 E. where the family greeted friends prior to the services. Interment, the Huntsville Cemetery. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Myers Mortuary of Roy, Utah. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Howard Family Relief Fund Washington Mutual Credit Union Account #3163059211 Routing# 325070760 Raymond Earle Sanders Raymond Earle Sanders, 75, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend peacefully passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 surrounded by his loving family. After a lifetime of faithful service, he was reunited with his Savior and those of his loved ones who have passed on before him Dad was born August 25, 1931 in Ogden, Utah to Raymond Sanders and Elda Marie Searle. His mother preceded him in death in July of 1936 and he was raised by a loving step mother, Margaret Evelyn Nelson. He enjoyed his early years growing up in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School in 1949. He had a passion for education and lifetime learning. He attended and taught at Weber State College, studied at Brigham Young University and Ohio State University, and instilled the importance of education to his children. He loved the outdoors including hunting, camping, fishing, and good hunting dogs. Our memories are filled with great outings, especially the family summer camping trips to Island Park. Dad enjoyed amateur radio and cherished the friends he met through this hobby. He loved airplanes and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after many years as an air traffic controller. Dad served a mission to his ancestral homeland of Norway. He had a great love for the gospel and served in many different capacities including Bishop and, most recently, as a Gospel Doctrine instructor. He was a wonderful teacher who had a great influence on everyone he knew. He had a strong testimony of the Savior and the plan of salvation and passed this on to friends and family. Dad married Loralee Green on November 21, 1956 in the Salt Lake City temple. From their loving marriage of over 50 years came 801-745-4000 2555 WOLF CREEK DR. NT7Y signing off… Russell Brian Rasband Russell Brian Rasband, 38, returned peacefully in his sleep to his Heavenly Father’s loving arms on July 4, 2007. Brian was born April 5, 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Russell Bourne Rasband and LaVon Carol Tiffany Rasband. Brian graduated from Davis High School in 1987 and always had a dream of continuing his education in Dental School. He was so excited to put his plans into motion this fall. Brian earned his Eagle Scout. He married his High School sweetheart, Shauna Smuin. She was the love of his life. They were later divorced. Brian was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints in the Clearfield Major Meadows Ward. He was employed as a home agent with O’Currance Teleservices. Brian enjoyed playing softball, boating, skiing, traveling, golfing, ice fishing, and spending time in the out-of-doors. He was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos football team and even attended several games. He loved dogs and being with children. Brian had a very infectious laugh and people loved to be around him. He was a very kind and sensitive person and could light up the room with his smile and blue eyes. He will be missed greatly and will never be forgotten. Brian, we love you and we know you are at peace. Surviving are his parents, LaVon Carol Rasband of Clearfield; Russell (Pat) Rasband of Layton; three sisters, Corrie (Brett) Hamblin, Hager City, WI; Shelley Jo Rasband, of Clearfield; and Sandi (Arthur) Rice, of Eden; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the Major Meadows Ward, 2150 S. 800 E., Clearfield. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery. Jana Lee Clark Our beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend, Jana (banana) died July 7, 2007 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Jana was born in Ogden, Utah on November 10, 1985 to Jeffrey Lynn and Tamera Nelson Clark. She graduated from Weber High School in 2004 where she played on the school soccer team. She enjoyed soccer and continued playing competitively after high school. Jana loved the outdoors and camping, and had a special love for animals. Her fun and outgoing personality will be greatly missed. She was a member of the North Ogden 23rd Ward. She was employed as a receptionist Jana Clark at Auto Transport Group. Jana is survived by her parents Jeff and Tami; brothers and sisters Jake (Brittanie) Clark, (South Ogden), Amy (Steve) Shook, (Ogden), Jordan Clark, and Chelsie Clark; a niece Addie; and nephews Cooper and Ethan. Also surviving are her grandparents Lynn and Sandra Clark (Ogden) and Roger and Jackie Nelson (Uintah); many caring uncles, aunts, cousins, and best friend Kyle. She had a special place in her heart for Steven and Jackson Marz whom she loved like they were her own. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mark Ahlstrom for his concern and determination.
