Show BOYER FAMILY HOLDS REUNION A family reunion of the descend-, ants of Catherine Houtz Boyer wab held at the Springville Third ward amusement hall Thursday afternoon and evening, July 2. About 100 were present representing represent-ing the Boyer families of Springville, Spring-ville, Mapleton and Salt Lake City. The following program was car-reid car-reid out in the afternoon with John S. Boyer, Jr., acting as master of ceremonies : Community singing, lead by Mrs. Lela Boyer Packard of Salt Lake City: reading by Mrs. Lydia Ly-dia Boyer Johnson, the only living daughter of Catherine Houtz Boyer; vocal solo by Mrs. Lela Boyer Packard; a short talk by John S. Boyer. Sr., the only living son of Mrs. Catherine Houtz Boyer; solo dance by Miss Fern . Boyer; reading by Angus Boyer of Salt Lake City, a talk by Selvoy J. Boyer; reminescenco of the old Boyer home in Pennsylvania by Charles Boyer; wizard stunts by W. A. Boyer. After the program luncheon was served at which time toasts were given by I). C. Johnson, P. O. Boyer, It. L. Mendenball, Mrs. Charles Boyer and Wm. J. Boyer. The remainder of the evening was spent in games and dancing. A committee of ofie from each family was appointed lo make the occasion occa-sion an annua affair. A geneoloclcnl committee was also elected ns follows: John S. Boyer, Sr., president ; John S. Boyer.
