Show A CORRECT SENTIMENT. The Utah Journal, published at Logan, in the beautiful Cache, or pocket valley, has shown up with a bright, clean face and a very healthful look, and seems endowed with a constitution strong enough to ward off summer complaint. Its salutatory contains many good sentiments which will receive our hearty Gentile endorsement whenever the American Congress gets to running the country on the following European Brig. Young plan. It says, "While recognizing the power of Congress to enact proscriptive, un-American and even infamous laws for the government of Territorial citizens, we shall urge the people of Utah to contest, by every lawful means, its right to do so."-Southern Utah Times. |
