Show C o GLENDALE The students of the Treasureton school came to compete in a game of softball with our school Friday afternoon. A return game will be played in Treasureton soon. A cottage meeting was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Auger Wednesday evening, by the home missionaries. William Moore was in charge ot the meet ing and Horace Baugh directed the singing. The speakers were: Mary Peterson, Austin Hollingsworth, Orrie Winger, Paul Merrill, Torace Baugh and Asel Bell. A song "God Bless and Guide Our Mountain Home" was sung by Mrs. Alta J. Auger and Horace Baugh. Prayers were given by Orrie Winger and Cluissie B. Owen. Miss Hilda Frederick met with the women ot this community Thursdy afternoon in a demonstra tion on children's clothing. Miss Eva Webster of Salt Lake City spent the week-end at home visiting with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Asa Webster and family. A Ford tractor demonstration was given on the farm of Guy C. Peterborg Thursday afternoon. Angus An-gus Condie of Preston demonstrated demonstrat-ed the tractor and several different differ-ent implements. About ten farmers far-mers were present. Arrangements are being made for another dem onstration in the near future. Willard Dursleller of the Sunday School Stake Board was in attend artee at the services held Sunday. He was also the speaker for Sun-I Sun-I day School union meeting held Sunday afternoon.. |
