Show Former Preston Resident Dies In Oqden Funeral services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday in the Lewiston First ward for Mrs. Sarah Jance Clayton Porter, Por-ter, 73, wife of Nathan Boyd Porter Por-ter who died Sunday at 6 p. m. at the home of a daughter in Ogden, Utah, following a year's illness of complications incident to age. Mrs. Porter was born September 28, 1867, in Franklin, Idaho, a daughter of Edward and Ellen Morrison Clayton. She was married to Mr. Porter June 1, 1897. Since her marriage she had spent most of her life in Preston, Glendale, Whitney, and Lewiston, Utah. She had been in Ogden a year. Surviving are her husband of Ogden, the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Joseph Flygare, Glen and Lloyd Porter of Ogden; Mrs. Ellen Jepson and Mrs. Ray Webster of Glendale; Spencer Porter Por-ter of Lewiston; Boyd and Lewis Porter of Preston; Sarah Porter of Los Angeles, Calif; and Grant and Alton Porter of Sacramento, Calif. Sixteen grandchildren also survive. Interment took place in the Pres ton cemetery under the direction of the George W. Larkin and Sons mortuary of Ogden. - . WED.-THURS.
