Show Alaska Boundary. The work of delimiting the provisional provis-ional boundary in the disputed Alaska-Canadian Alaska-Canadian territory bavi'ng been completed com-pleted in that part crossing the Dalton trail and touching the Porchpine district, dis-trict, the Americans in that district find that they have lost a large part of what they believed was rightfully American territory. The survey has been run and the monuments set within with-in the last few weeks by O. H. Tittman of Washington, D. C, and W. F. King of Ottawa, and assistants, who have Bimply followed instructions as set forth in the modus Vivendi agreed to provisionally some months ago by secretary sec-retary Hay on the part of the United States and British representatives, after the adjournment of the joint high commission. |
