Show so contributed several pieces of lapidary work which are to be sold and the entire proceeds to be given to the band, i Winner named in band fund project by local Senior Citizens Jack Allen was the winner of the first prize, a hand-made quilt, given away at the Friday Fri-day night dance at Memorial Hall by the Springville-Maple-ton Senior Citizens in their project pro-ject to raise funds for the high school band uniforms. The lucky ticket was selected by Reed Rieskie, high school band president. At each Friday night dance, a rug and pieces of ceramics, some donated by Dorothy Brown and others by the ceramics cer-amics department of Senior Citizens, will be given away until November 18, when the major prize, a beautiful handmade hand-made quilt will be given during the regular monthly banquet for Senior Citizen members. Tickets for the prizes, all exhibited ex-hibited at Christensen's store may be secured from committee commit-tee members, Guy Brown, Nellie Nel-lie Bertelsen, Alice Beardall, Berton Groesbeck or Francis Beardall.
