Show Superintendent Reidhead first 'Guest of the Week' at SJHS Supt. Reidhead attended Dixie Dix-ie Junior College and Southern Utah State College. He earned his doctor's degree from BYU. The superintendent and his wife, Glenda, have four children; chil-dren; Stanley, 14, is an eighth grader; Leslie, 11, is a sixth grader; John, 9, is in the fourth grade, and David is 3. His hobbies include skiing, golfing, carpentry, and restoring restor-ing old "jalopies." The first prominent guest to visit Springville Junior High School in their new "Guest of the Week" program was Superintendent Su-perintendent Joe Reidhead. He visited the school on Monday, November 3, and participated in the school assembly, visited classes, and was their gue-;t for lunch. Supt. Reidhead's work background back-ground includes farming, serving serv-ing in the U. S. Army for two years, owning and operating a tire recapping business, and operating heavy equipment on highway construction. He has taught grades 3, i, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12; been a high school principal for two year3; an assistant superintendent cf Iron County schools for four years. He has served as an educational ed-ucational consultant and has authorized numerous professional profes-sional articles. SPECIAL GUEST Greeting the first "Guest of the Week" at Springville Junior High School is Trent Smith, student body president, as he welcomes Superintendent Joe Reidhead Reid-head for a visit to the school as a special honored guest. |
