A legislative committee headed head-ed by Milton L. Horsley of Soda Springs has been appointed by President Een Johnson of Preston Pres-ton to formulate a bill providing provid-ing for the erection of a sana- torium at Lava and present it to the Idaho legislature now in session. It ha; been pointed out that the natural facilities and resources re-sources of Lava Hot Springs plus the natural hot mineral water make it a logical location for a sanitorium. Three Preston men arc now working on committees for lho promotion of tho project, Tom Heath on the legislative commit-' j lee., and Dr. A. R. Cutler and -C. L. In addition to requests for legislative legis-lative appropriations, it is planned to ask for funds from the National Foundation for the Prevention of Infantile Paralysis out of receipts from the' March of Dimes and the President's Birthday Ball being conducted this month. |
