Show o o I ADAMSVILLE o o PARTIES GIVEN FOR NEWLY-WEDS. NEWLY-WEDS. Thursday night, Feb. 27, a miscellaneous miscel-laneous hower was given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Ward, It was held at the home of Mrs. Ruben Griffiths. Grif-fiths. The social started at eight o'clock and a delicious luncheon was served at 11 o'clok. A very enjoyable enjoy-able evening was spent by all and at the close of the social the 30 ladies when leaving, wished Mrs. Lorin Ward and husband both good luck throughout all their lives, and much happiness. Mrs. Ward received many beautiful and very useful gifts. Another wedding supper was given giv-en early this week at the home of the groom in Beaver. It was given by his parents. All close relatives of the bride and groom were invited. They received many more beautiful gifts at the shower held in Beaver. The happy young couple will live in Adamsville this summer and looks after the Ruben Griffith ranch and farm. Wednesday night a number of people peo-ple here attended the dance at Greenville. Green-ville. Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Baldwin were in Manderfield Sunday visiting relatives rela-tives and friends. Miss Nettie Frazier and Miss Barc-lough Barc-lough of Beaver spent the night here with Miss Velma Evans and Miss Revon Eyre after the dance Wednesday Wed-nesday night. Mrs. Morrell Hunter, of Shelley, Idaho, had her tonsils removed Monday Mon-day morning. Thomas McAuley, of ' Salt Lake City, is here looking after business affairs. o |
