Show AGED PIONEER DIES FROM HEART ATTACK John E. Stapley, pioneer of Toque'rville, died at his home there Wednesday, 'March 1, following fol-lowing a sudden heart attack. He was born November 18, 1S50, in Australia, but came to America and settled In Toquerville when only a very young boy about 8 years of age and has lived there since. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: John C, Oakley, Idaho; Mrs. Emma Lamlb, Beaver; Mrs. Janet Jenkins, Jen-kins, Twin Falls; Frank H., Twin Falls; Mrs. Sc-linda Evans, Los Angeles, and George of Cedar Ce-dar City. All, with the exception excep-tion of Mrs. Evans, were present pres-ent at the funeral services held at Toquerville Friday under the direction of Bishop Leo Bring-hurst. Bring-hurst. The speakers were Bishop Bringhurst, John T. Beatty and Riley C. Savage. Music was by the choir, with additional numbers num-bers including a solo by Miss Blanche Lamb, and a quartet composed of Mrs. Clara Klein-man, Klein-man, Mrs. Howena Slack. Harvey Har-vey Jackson and R. J. Naegle. |
