Just how lucky can you be? - The school had Halloween parties par-ties and a parade down main s.t, Monday, of ghosts, goblins, witches witch-es and all the other weird charac ters-. Monday night saw the streets alive with trick or treaters. It was a real tribute to Ronald Morris, Sunday night, to see so many of his relative and friends here to attend his farewell testi monial, prior to his departure for the Eastern- States Mission. The music was beautiful and the talks very inspirational. Ronald-is such a clean, handsome fellow, he will make a good missionary and we are all very proud of him. One of our old time residents, Wallace Reed, now living in Los Angeles, called to see me Friday. He was here on hospital business. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Crafts and small sons, Ronald and Clinton, of Las Vegas, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Crafts. Arlo Taylor drove o Salt Lake, Thursday, and brought his brother, Ralph, home from thej hospital. He is feeling fine and improving every day. Mr. Aroet Taylor had a slight stroke while he was deer hunting, and he is not feeling up to par, the past week. Hazel Hilton Allen and husband, Arden, from Oakland, Calif., were here to visit Mr. and Mrs. Roy P. Hilton and other relatives, Friday and Saturday.--- Mr. and Mrs. Alton Theobald had their daughter, Susan Tanner, from Eig Piney, Wyo., and son son, Chas. and wife from Salt Lake, as their guests over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. George Barton of Midvale, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl , Talbot, of Salt Lake, drove down Sunday for Ronald's farewell Sun-iday Sun-iday night. I Mr. and Mrs. Dana Pratt and Ron-' Ron-' old Morris went to the homecoming celebration at Cedar City Saturday. " Eishop Karl Workman and Wife, Arvilla, returned from a week's vacation, va-cation, Friday night. They went down thru Duchesne, the Range-ly Range-ly oil fields, over Douglas Pass to Grand Junction, Colo. They stayed at Sisco one night, then down the Colorado River to Moab. Karl said it was the most beautiful scenery he had ever seen. Their daughter, Paula and little Kim went with them, so they took them back to Salt Lake and visited Bertha Slaughter, then to Prove- to see their folks and Brother and Sister, David Stevens' in Pleasant Grove. Jeddie Judd left for Wenden, Ariz.., Tuesday morning, for the winter. He has been employed with the U. S. Gov't Survey. Alma Western went with David Hofhiens to Salt Lake, Friday, for an appointment with Alma's doctor. doc-tor. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Skeem, from Salt Lake, were home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Hepworth were visited by their daughter, Grace Haitt and family, of Payson, Saturday and Sunday. Orlando was feeling a little better today, (Monday). (Mon-day). Mrs. Esther Petersen was in Salt Lake all last week with her children. child-ren. Mr. and Mrs. James Whicker and children, of Las Vegas, visited parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Whicker. They also had Paul's brother, from Salt Lake, here last week. They all helped Bonnie and Walter Man-is Man-is move into the Hilton home. - Mrs. Belva Morris cooked their Thanksgiving dinner Friday evening even-ing and had their children and grandchildren, also, her father, J. H. -Western, home before Ronald left for. his mission. DINNER PARTY . - ..Mrs.. Enid Damrfln' entertained newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Warnick, Sr., at dinner. Saturday evening; also, all of her family and Waldo's were invited. The new Mrs. Warnick is Enid's sister, Alta, from Salt Lake. Out-of-town relatives at the dinner were Mrs. Don Hilton, with children, Donell, Jimmy and Lindaf Pat Cobb and son, Don, of Kanosh; Arlene Nielson, Alma Edwards, Ed-wards, of Salt Lake; Mary Warnick, who Is attending college at the U. of U., and Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Warnick, War-nick, Jr., of Provo. COALESCE CLUB ' " Coalesce Club members met at the home of Mrs. LaWanna Peterson, Peter-son, Thursday evening. The lesson, "Watching the Child Grow" was given by Mrs. Sebrina Ekins. The Gail Parkers made a trip to Lehi, and Eudene is going to stay for a visit with her sister. . Baily Tripp and son, Marion, from Wendbver, visited in Callao a few days. Henry Davis and son and a friend, from Fillmore, and, also, Lawrence Davis and son, from Deseret, went deer hunting with Buster" and Rob ert Timm over the weekend.
