The bride was attired in a handsome traveling costume of cadet blue, with trimmings' of chiffon and pearl passamentiere, with hat and gloves to match. The groom was attired in conventional black. After the ceremony the guests repaired to the home of the groom'9 parents, where an elegant wedding breakfast was served. The newly-married couple were the happy recipients of many costly and beautiful presents. They were accompanied accom-panied to the depot by a large circle of admiring friends, who, when the train was leaving, cast old shoes and showers of rice after them. Mr. and Mrs. Hanley will be at home to their friends after Dec. 5.. Last week, while cleaning a well, Mr. Henry Bannon miraculously escaped es-caped from death. Mr. Bannon was at the bottom of the well, some fifty feet deep, when one of the large buckets being used to hoist the dirt slipped away from the helper and dropped down, striking Mr. Bannon Ban-non on the back of the left hand, almost breaking it. |
