The bridge had Jutit been built and had been approved by engineers but the locomotive had hardly brought its full weight on it before it sank with a roar and a crash, the center falling 25 feet to the ground, leaving the locomotive suspended wKh the front wheels on the bastions of one side of the bridge and the rear wheels on the other. |
