Faculty Announced for This Year Several new teachers have been added to the staff this year. Howard H. Barron of Salt Lake City will teach biology, eugenics, and general science. He has a doctor's degree from University of Utah and has formerly been principal of Altamonj High School. Grant Bushman comes to this school after coaching football for four years at Moapa High School in Overton, Nevada. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from BYU. He wall teach boys Phys Ed, physiology, and coach football and baseball. Ken Weight, a former teacher at Central Junior High Scnool in Granite district, will teacn religion and 8th Grade Core. He has his B.S. degree from Blu William E. McKell of Spamsn Fork will teach tne industrial arts program for this scnool. Mr. McKeil has B.S. and M.S. degrees from USAC. Don McConkie shifts to BA. Hign School from Dixon Junior High School. He hoios B.S. anu M.S. degrees from BYU. Mr. McConkie will teacn Problems ox Democracy and 9tn Graae Core. Layne Compton, with B.S., M.- S., and Ph.D. degrees from University of Utah, has been teaching at Granite High. As the summer draws to a close, we all find ourselves reI viving our old fall grudge: school. to back wanna dont go But lets face it; school isnt. all drudgery. You and I, and everyone who has ever gone to school has had many pleasant expediences there the first date, the first formal dance, or the first football game. These are all fond memories to all of us, and I hope that in this next year at B.Y. High we can give everyone many more such memories. At B.Y. High we need the wholehearted support of every student in everything we do to make a successful year. We all have to contribute our talents and energies into the pot of activities.
